Benefits of Contingent Employee Outsourcing
Billing consolidation
Rather than receive multiple invoices from all vendors; as well as having
multiple legal contractors for all vendors, our clients receive a single,
consolidated invoice for all workers provided via Albany. The result for you:
minimal administration, and huge cost savings.
Compliance management
Knowledge is everything. Through our internal Global Compliance Department,
and unparalleled international network of legal, tax and immigration advisers,
we keep up-to-date with fiscal, labor and immigration legislation to ensure your
consultants and staff comply with every statutory requirement whilst maximizing
cost and tax savings.
In their determination to supply enough people and maximize their margins, some
companies often relegate the importance of compliance issues. This could include
attempts to circumvent immigration regulations; misclassification of employee
status; overtime issues; insurance oversights.
Risk management
Our core objective is to protect our client, the end-user, from any
potential exposure, whether from government agencies such as IRS, SSA, BCIS
(Immigration), Dept of Labor, or with regards to insurance risks and potential
employee / employer liabilities.
Communication
Direct access to information concerning billing, pay, legal and HR issues
regarding your consultants. Whether you have a query regarding an invoice;
require tax or immigration advice; or need an update on a visa application for a
candidate, speak to us directly to eliminate any time delays or
misunderstandings on critical issues.
Record keeping and reporting
Albany take responsibility for reports to all relevant state and federal
organizations, such as quarterly wage reports, as well as maintaining all
necessary documents and public access files.
Direct consultant engagement
The strength of your corporate brand, coupled with your existing database of
consultants, enables direct access to prospective workers. Instead of channeling
internally recruited contractors through existing suppliers, you can send them
to Albany for only a fraction of the cost.
Moreover, when you engage contractors through Albany Systems, you own that
relationship. So re-engaging a worker in the future, or engaging them
permanently is easy and cost-effective, with no non-solicitation penalties or
hire-out fees. For further information on our ContractDirect program, please

National coverage
Albany Systems services all states within the USA and Canada, and carries
all necessary licenses and insurances for such territories. Moreover, we are
uniquely positioned to provide advice as well as facilitate moving contingent
workers from state to state as well as country to country.
International coverage
From a long-term perspective, the Albany model has unique and significant
benefits to multi-national companies. In certain sectors, such as the telecoms
industry, the shortage of skilled workers in the domestic labor force means
having to look abroad for the required skills. However, as immigration
regulations across the globe become more stringent, it is increasingly difficult
for end-users to source expatriate workers. Once a consultant of any nationality
has been working as a full-time employee of any Albany Group company for a
minimum of 1 year, Albany has the facility to swiftly transfer the individual’s
employment to any of our affiliate companies around the world.
For example, a consultant working as an employee of Albany Technologies Ltd in
Germany for 14 months could subsequently work in the US via an intra-company
transfer. Albany Systems Inc would obtain an L1 visa for the individual, and
would also manage their international tax affairs.
